If you’ve ever been to an airport, I’m guessing you’ve been inconvenienced, hassled, shoved, delayed, and generally irritated.
This song is for you.
Put yourself in the shoes of a frustrated traveler who is stranded by an unexpected layover, and has passed the time with a few too many airport-priced beers. It’s almost like this song could have been based on a true story. I can’t really say for sure.
My good friends Pat McClimans and Mandy Larsson are with me on this song, as well as some other great musicians I can’t thank enough.

Lyrics:
Stumbling through security
That ol’ TSA ain’t no match for me
They’re pouring out all of my whiskey
And now they’re… Pat! (What’s up?)
They’re patting me down
These January 6th motherfuckers
Posers like them are a dime a dozen
I wish I could play them
Some of my punk rock songs
No-fly zone, I’m grounded
At some airport I don’t even know
I wish I was in that mosh pit tonight
No-fly zone, I’m drinking
Every 18-buck lager they got
Yeah, it’s almost noon and I’m still going strong
You got any idea who I think I am?
Lufthansa Lounge got no country ham
Look at all these people coughin’ in their hands
I wonder if these mini subs are all you can eat
I packed some drugs, I hope I don’t need more
Gonna be a long flight with babies on board
Is that Amanda Knox sitting across the bar
Watching me buy beers on my credit card?
No-fly zone, I’m grounded
At some airport I don’t even know
I wish I was in that mosh pit tonight
No-fly zone, I’m drinking
Every 18-buck lager they got
Yeah, it’s almost noon and I’m still going strong
